An ICS Occasional Paper (OP) is similar to an extended journal article. It is expected to be of high academic quality and may be based on secondary or primary research. Drafts submitted for consideration as ICS OPs will be reviewed by at least one subject expert. The reviewer's comments are shared with the author for any required revisions. A plagiarism check is done on the article before clearing the draft for publication. All ICS Publications are uploaded on the website with an image on the theme of the paper, therefore please provide a suitable image indicating the source. Images with maps will not be accepted.

The indicative length would be 5000-10000 words.
