Tahera Daud is a Doctoral candidate at the Centre of East Asian Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. She submitted her M.Phil Dissertation on “The Geo-Politics of Sovereign Wealth Funds in China, 2007-2017” at Jawaharlal Nehru University in 2018. She has an interest in Chinese Political Economy and Foreign Policy. She was a recipient of UNESCO/People's Republic of China (The Great Wall) Co-Sponsored Fellowships Programme 2011-2012. She has worked as a Research Assistant in Rashtrapati Bhavan, Indian Institute of Management Ahemdabad (IIMA) and India China Economic and Cultural Council (ICEC). She has also interned at prominent Indian think-tanks such as Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses(IDSA) and Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA).
