SIDDHARTH TIWARI

Siddharth Tiwari is a Research Intern at the Institute of Chinese Studies. He is currently pursuing his M.A. in International Studies from Christ University, Bangalore. He completed his B.A. in History, Economics, and Political Science from Christ University as well. His areas of interest lie in Sino-Indian relations, Sino-Afghan relations, Chinese Foreign Policy, Chinese presence in Africa, and China's role in the Indian and Pacific Ocean. Siddharth is currently working on a research project titled "Understanding China's influence in the Central Asian region" and intends to understand the Belt and Road Initiative as well as the situation in the South China Sea.

Areas of interest
