Md Rezaul Islam is a Research Intern and a Political Science postgraduate student at Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi. He is also pursuing a Diploma in International Relations and Diplomacy from IIGL, New Delhi, reflecting his strong interest in understanding contemporary global affairs, diplomacy and international cooperation. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from St. Anthony’s College, North Eastern Hill University, Shillong, where he graduated as the Student of the Year 2025 and served as the Valedictorian of his graduating batch.
Beyond academia, Rezaul has actively engaged in leadership, public policy discussions, and youth development initiatives. He has served as Secretary-General of the St. Anthony’s College Model United Nations Conference and has participated in numerous national-level Model United Nations conferences, youth parliaments, and diplomatic simulations, earning recognition for his contributions to public speaking, negotiation, and policy analysis. These experiences have strengthened his commitment to multilateralism, international dialogue, and evidence-based policymaking.
He is passionate about research, public engagement, and promoting awareness of international affairs among young people. Through his academic work and leadership experiences, he aims to contribute to meaningful discussions on global governance, regional cooperation, and the evolving political and economic dynamics of Asia and the wider international system.
