Dr. Christian Wagner is Senior Fellow at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) in Berlin. He was a Visiting Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), the Jawaharlal Nehru Institute for Advanced Studies (JNIAS) and at the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA) in New Delhi in 2015/16. Since 2018 he is a member of the International Research Committee (IRC) of the Regional Centre for Strategic Studies (RCSS) in Colombo. He was Visiting Fellow at the Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2019. His main areas of interest are India and South Asia with a special focus on foreign policy and security issues.
