BHARAT JOSHI

Bharat Joshi is a research intern at the Institute of Chinese Studies and a doctoral candidate at the Centre for East Asian Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He holds a master's degree in conflict analysis and peace building from Jamia Millia Islamia. He was awarded UGC-NET Junior Research Fellowship in political science and UGC-NET in defence and strategic studies. His research work aims at studying China’s foreign policy towards India during border conflict, particularly analysing the conflict resolution mechanism between the two countries. His research interests include China’s foreign policy under Xi Jinping, China’s diplomacy and political economy.
