Abstract
This talk will examine the content of the China Dream proposed by Xi Jinping and how it is different from the political proclamations made by earlier Chinese leaders. In this light, it will be examined how ideologically strong or motivated Xi's Dream is and the ways and means that he has adopted so far to pursue this initiative. The possible strategic, military, economic, and political challenges corresponding to the China Dream are examined as also whether Xi’s new agenda constitutes an opportunity or a threat to the rest of the world. Finally, the broad domestic implications of the China Dream will also be explored.
