As part of a national academic study tour to New Delhi, students of the Master’s Programme in Political Leadership and Government (MPG) from the MIT School of Government (MIT-SOG), MIT-World Peace University, Pune visited the Institute of Chinese Studies (ICS), New Delhi. The delegation of students was led by Dr. Abhijeet Dhere, Program Director, MIT School of Government, who was accompanied by Mr. Chinmay Bendre, Senior Research Associate, and Ms. Pradnya Nene, Admissions and Student Coordinator, MIT School of Government. The faculty and students interacted with senior faculty of the ICS, which included Prof. Alka Acharya, Director, and Prof. Sreemati Chakrabarti, Chairperson, ICS. The delegation engaged the ICS faculty with questions pertaining to the work carried out by the Institute, and historical and recent developments in India-China relations, leading to a fruitful and insightful discussion.
