SANJANA DHAR

Sanjana Dhar is a Research Intern at Institute of Chinese Studies, Delhi. She is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Diplomacy, Law and Business from O.P. Jindal Global University, Sonipat. She has completed her Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Political Science from Ramjas College, University of Delhi. In the course of her Master's programme, as a part of her academic requirements, she has written a research paper on ‘South China Sea dispute and the counter-action from Southeast Asian nations’. Her research interests are Geopolitics of East Asia and Southeast Asia, Foreign Policy and Security Aspect of China, China’s role in the Indo-Pacific region, hard power, soft power and smart power diplomacy. Also, she can speak beginner level Mandarin.
