DEBASHREE NATH

Debashree Nath is currently pursuing her Masters in International Relations from Christ University, Bangalore. She has done her 10th from St. Joseph’s Convent High School, Tezpur, Assam and her 12th from CSKM Public School, New Delhi. She holds a Bachelor degree in Political Science from Daulat Ram College, Delhi University. She has participated in International Seminar on Biswa Manch par “Hindi” at Port Louis, Mauritius in 2014. She has also participated in a National Conference on Sub-regional cooperation in South Asia: India, Sri-Lanka  and Maldives in 2015 and a National Workshop on Rashtriya Ucchatter Siksha Abhiyan. She has written a research paper on “Maritime Terrorism and Security Concerns of Kerala and Maldives” and on “Globalization and dietary transition in urban areas of India”. She has done an internship in Department of Sociology, Tezpur Central University.

She is currently working on her Masters dissertation titled “China’s Maritime security strategy towards Indian Ocean: An Assesment”. Her current research interests also include: China-South Asia relations, Tibet Autonomy.
