PAVAN RAGHAVENDRA

I am currently a Research Intern at the Institute for Chinese Studies, New Delhi. I have completed my BA (Research) in International Relations from Shiv Nadar University, Greater Noida. As part of my Bachelor's degree, I completed my Undergraduate Thesis titled "Civil-Military Relations in the XI Jinping Era: Building Professionalism of the PLA with Chinese Characteristics" in 2021. My areas of interest include Security Studies, Science and Technology in International Relations, Civil-Military Relations, the Chinese PLA, and Chinese Foreign Policy.

Experience

Current Positions

I am currently working on a research project on China's Military-Civil Fusion Programme and the role of Technology in Facilitating China's Rejuvenation.

Past Positions

I have previously interned with the Chennai Centre for China Studies (C3S) and have published an Issue Brief titled "Chinese Strategic Culture: Exploring the Underpinnings of Chinese Policymaking" in 2020.
